I am currently accepting new private students interested in trying out a few lessons before establishing a longer commitment. I'm looking for students motivated and dedicated to improving their game, those that are willing to study outside of our sessions. My process with each student is the following:
I believe in working on all aspects of the game with each student, which includes:
I believe that a coach's job is not only to instruct, but to develop a individualized training regimen that suits each students' needs. I also believe that a proper coach should utilize the variety of training resources available and guide the student to using them most effectively. Finally, a coach should motivate the student to work and improve their game as much as possible, in order for the student to make rapid progress and reach their full potential. With every student I work with, my focus is not only on teaching them as much chess as possible, but also teaching them how to improve the different aspects of the game, i.e. how to train calculation, how to properly learn an opening, how to improve middlegame/endgame play, and so on.
If you're interested in scheduling your first lesson, please send me a message.
