f7f5, if qd1+ kg2 qxh5, then qe8 winning f7
There is no general rule when you are under attack, it all depends on the subtleties of the position, that is why I am skipping the explanations. Thank you for your comment
thanks for the video, maybe in one of your videos you can go into more explanation concerning opposite colored bishops and on what color you want your pawns to be on and on what color you want your opponents pawns to be on as general principle. For instance, if your pawns on the color of your bishop then it limits the mobility of your bishop but at the same time, it keeps them safe from enemy bishop. In the last example where said black would want to still pawns on same color as white bishop around king to try to defend light squares, but at the same time it made them all potential targets for the lightsquared bishop.
Lovely young Dejan very instuctive
Lovely puzzle, NNHSChess, thanks!
Very nice! At 2:00....there is a snack of f7...LOL.
Thank you Coach Dejan Bojkov.
Speaking of Queen and Bishop vs Queen and Bishop of opposite colors, the following puzzle was created only about a year ago if I remember correctly, by an amateur of this site. It took me a while to locate it, but it still looks cool to me.
GM Dejan Bojkov your instructions are very helpful for me. Thanks for guidance.
Thanks for the instuctive video!
@f7f5: My first guess would be Qd1+ Kg2 Qxh5 Qf8!, followed by Bxf7 and a very strong mating attack against the black king, similar to what was played in the video when black took the pawn on h5 later.

The queen joins the dance floor today, replacing the rook but again choosing the bishop as her partner. Turns out she has even more moves than her predecessors. GM Bojkov shows why the combo of queen and opposite colored bishop can be lethal in the right hands. The Yaz struts his stuff twice, once beating a helpless Mikhail Tal.
