"My house is your house and let's trade eyes"
How come no one thought of that before?
No videos on iPad???
No video on myipad3:(
I had that thought as well - but there does not seem to be a mating attack since the f3 knight covers the potential queen check on d2.
Haha can't wait to see the finish, I love these complex endgames
thanks Danny your videos are great
Dropped the ball on mobile devices, does anyone really sit at their desk top computer anymore?
@healthybrick -- I think just Qxc3 is good for white
At 14:00, why not ...Bh6?
In my post game review, I echoed your exact feelings Evan ! I think black's position is just too good for white if you maintain the tension on c3 an develop both Nc6 or even Nd7.
I also talked about the theory of the line (I took a quick break and looked it up) and where I should have made my improvements, without going too deeply into anything... just in case we meet again .
Thanks for playing, man! Was fun!
Very interesting opening and middlegame - looking forward to the conclusion!
I believe my 10...Nxc3 was a pretty big mistake. Simply 10...Re8 11. Bd6 Nc6 (with the important idea of just maintaining the tension) would give black an almost winning advantage I think. Great game so far...looking foward to hearing your thoughts on the second part :)
We are working on the video issue for mobile devices now. Our apologies ...
luv d live sessions great vid!
videos aren't working on mobile... i have ipad 2 and iphone 4
di IM Daniel Rensch
In the first of this rare two-part Live Session, IM Rensch loses his way early, forgetting opening theory to find himself struggling to equalize against his strong, well-known Chess.com opponent. After failing to calculate his complex options properly (choosing 8.e5 over 8.Qd2), Danny is holding on for dear life! But when he finds an outside chance at counter-play as today's video lecture reaches its close, the stage is set for an epic battle in Part 2...
