Well well! What more can be said?  It's nice to see some photos of The Chess Queen, Alexandra Kosteniuk!!  Good Luck to you. And to the American Team - you go ladies!

I find "brilliant" a better word than "interesting" to describe Gunina's play against Wenjun; "Spectacular" is also a fitting word choice.

OK, Sergey Rublevsky wears the coolest jacket that I've ever seen!

The depth of the combination executed by Gunina in her game against Wenjun Ju was at a level that would likely have caught quite a few of the 2700-level men GMs too.

What was amazing is the supreme coordination of white's pieces in all variations, and the weaving of tactical themes in that combination: a back-rank weakness, a fork, a deflection, and a discovered attack, along with checkmate threats, to name a few -- all within a string of 5-6 moves.

Should the moves requires to be made by elites to make it on immortal list? 'interesting'? yeah, okay.

Gunina, Valentina vs. Ju Wenjun game is insane! deserves a place in immortal games vault. and I don't think it is from chess engines.
