The third round of the Tashkent FIDE Grand Prix produced two more decisive games in what promises to be a closely fought competition.

The joint winner of the first Grand Prix in London, Shakhriyar Mamedyarov, scored a nice win against Peter Svidler when the Russian got in a terrible tangle in the Gruenfeld Defence.

The other winner in the round 3 was Fabiano Caruana, bouncing back immediately from his loss to Morozevich yesterday.  Caruana inflicted Gata Kamsky's second defeat.

It would be funny if Carauna drank all the stuff that looks like wine and went crazy by sacking and doing wierd things and ending up mating his opponent.Tongue Out

Has anyone gotten to the bottom of why Cara has a glass of what appears to be wine at his side?
