I don't think so that Scandi is not a good opening. At first, i also saw this opening as the worst and thougt that this will not make me any progress but since after seeing my friend in an OTB tourney playing this and doing extremely well, i thought to give it a shot and guess what?

It works very well. Every opening is good or bad on the basis of the players whom they are playing. If u are a master in it, then u can't see Scandi as weak opening. It's a sharp opening. If u play it well, undergo variations and lines and explore some situations, i beileve it will not let u down. Eg: See my case. I never responded e4 with any opening other than d4 (Check explorer) If in one or two games i have experimented with the openings.

scandinavian is mostly good but sometimes your opponent knows the opening and goes into strange sidelines and he could beat your mainline system if he attacks early on.

p.s - if you are master and you play it it is good.
